Colonial Anglicanism in North America
Published in Paperback by Wayne State Univ Pr (May, 1986)
Author: John Frederick Woolverton
Average review score:

A Forgotten History
This book is the only book I know about a long forgotten part of both American and Church history.
The Anglican church played a significant role in the developement of this country. For too long Purtian New England with it's Pilgrims and dissenters has held sway over the religious history of the English colonies in North America.
Anglicans had a tremendous influence in the colonies where they were the established church.
Dr.Woolverton has done extensive research examining every aspect of the church's role both in the official and unofficial life of the colonies. It is a great shame this book has gone out of print. It is a must read for any student of the colonial period or anyone concerned with the history of the church in the 17th and 18th centuries.

The Coming of the Quantum Cats
Published in Paperback by Bantam Books (August, 1987)
Authors: Frederick Pohl and Frederik Pohl
Average review score:

Great sci-fi
By far Pohl's best book. I read a lot of sci-fi and this is one of my all time faves. If you like good character development and solid quantum theory with people jumping between alternate earths then read this book. It's out of print but worth finding!

Compendium of the Civil War
Published in Hardcover by Morningside Bookshop (September, 1978)
Author: Frederick Dyer
Average review score:

An essential research tool for the Civil War
Normally known as Dyer's Compendium, this is a massive digest of all Union organizations that served in the US Civil War. The Compendium is divided into four major sections. The first section surveys all corps, divisions, brigades and other higher-level organizations of the US Army throughout the Civil War. Each is listed with its component units, when those units joined and when they left, as well as commanders. The second section lists all officers of general rank and their command assignments in chronological order. The third section lists all battles, engagements, skirmishes and other affairs on a state-by-state basis, with participating Union units and casualties. The final section lists all Union units, their organizational history and a narrative of service.

While the Compendium is sometimes inaccurate, it forms an invaluable starting point for research on the Civil War.

Compensation Decision Making
Published in Paperback by International Thomson Publishing (January, 1994)
Author: Frederick S. Hills
Average review score:

Excellent text for introductory compensation course!
This book has been a great supplemental text in my UCLA extension class. I had previously used Richard Henderson's book, Compensation Management, Rewarding Performance, but found that it was too technical for my students. This book, by Frederick Hill, covers all the pertinent areas of compensation that are necessary for an introductory course; presents all the information clearly and concisely, with relevant examples, sample forms and cases. I plan on ordering this book for my next class

Especially recommended for advanced students of graphics
The collaborative effort of computer animation experts Frederic I. An in-depth, exhaustive, and scholarly "how-to" text, Computer Facial Animation is an impressively comprehensive, 365-page textbook which is especially recommended for advanced students of graphics, mathematics, and programming.

Conducting With Feeling
Published in Paperback by Hal Leonard (April, 2001)
Authors: Frederick Harris and Harris Jr. Frederick
Average review score:

Excellent!!
This book is a fascinating look into the minds of some outstanding conductors working today! I would highly recommend it for students of conducting and music lovers in general - Harris explores perhaps the most crucial and elusive aspect of music-making - the emotional aspect.

Conquering Horse (The Buckskin Man Tales)
Published in Paperback by Univ of Nebraska Pr (September, 1983)
Authors: Frederick Feikema Manfred and Delbert E. Wylder
Average review score:

I was spellbound with anticipation of the outcome.
I have always been interested in the old west. The various customs of the Native Americans and the ways that the minds of prior generations worked in their own times. I have always had a love of horses and this novel certainly kept my attention. This book is only one of the Buckskin Man Series. They are all excellent. They have an order in which they should be read to be most effective because of the dates. If I can remember the order they are as follows. 1. Conquering Horse. 2. Lord Grizzley 3. Riders of Judgement 4. Jack of Spades 5. Scarlet Plum I was not disappointed in one of these. Frederick Manfred also wrote under the name of Fredrica. I do however, have a few of his books that I do not like. His home was in Minnesota and the area that he writes about in all these novels is the five state area around Minnesota.

A doctor specilized in cornea can not be without this book

From basic, this book traced the recent advances in corneal cell biology, immunology, microbiology, it supplies a overview the foundment of cornea.

From clinic, it is practable. It gives a detailed technique. It is a treasure box for guiding a new doctor.

I think I have been deeply benefit from this book.
